Yeah, I'm looking also and currently can't see that they'll be compatible. But eager to find if someone has made it work.
Do It! In all seriousness, it was and in a pain in the ass and scary at the same time. Very happy with the results though. BBinfinite is amazingly smooth and trouble free.Vivo3d wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:10 pmFactoryMatt wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:07 pmHacksaw the glued in cups out and run a bbinfinite pf30 bb. Their website has a video tutorial. I did this with my Cruxes and its awesome.
I saw that video even before I bought the Venge and I was shocked. But let's wait and see what Specialized has to say because the frame is under warranty.
Ride fast Take chances
Yeap, m5 x 15mm is fine. I replaced them too with this one:

Just make sure the head size fits with your bottle cage. They work fine with the Elite Rocko
Spoke with a bike shop which would be able to make the shell that sits in the frame custom and to perfect tolerances. But they adviced to wait for Specialized first because a fix like that would void the warrantyAlexbn921 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 2:59 pmDo It! Lovely looking Venge, what size is the frame?omikronphi wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 9:19 amRecently switched to 26mm Turbo Cottons and the new Elite Leggero cages as my bottles started to rattle in the Carbon Rib Cages.
The Turbo Cottons are such a smoother ride than the GP 5000 (tube type), and once the waxed side walls collected some dirt the tan wall look has grown on me.

I installed mine yesterday it doesnt look perfect. The Venge stem is much wider and sits perfect;y above the bottom spacer. The SL7 stem is a bit narrow and sits on inside of spacer.Im stopping by the local bikeshop today and see if they have an SL7 spacer to fit below the stem to fit to spec.
Doing the lord's work good sir.Jorgevenge20 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 12:43 pmI installed mine yesterday it doesnt look perfect. The Venge stem is much wider and sits perfect;y above the bottom spacer. The SL7 stem is a bit narrow and sits on inside of spacer.Im stopping by the local bikeshop today and see if they have an SL7 spacer to fit below the stem to fit to spec.

I recently swapped out my BB on a 2019 Venge Pro. The stock BB is a Praxis BB30 Conv unit for a shimano axle. I replaced with a Hambini BB30.FactoryMatt wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:07 pmHacksaw the glued in cups out and run a bbinfinite pf30 bb. Their website has a video tutorial. I didn't have to hacksaw the glued in cups. In fact there is a metal sleeve that sits between the cups internally as well. I just had the old BB knocked out and I pressed in the Hambini BB with no trouble with the existing cups. First (and only) ride was smooth and quiet.
Am I missing something?
Edit: I saw the video. Yea BB30 keeps the cups. Got it.
Finally got my Venge on order at a nice price in Dove grey/Murano blue with the standard Di2 CLX64 build. I know this is probably the heaviest paint, but I always wanted a white bike, so here we go. Didn't get a Tarmac SL7 as I figured the price was good enough to sell locally without losing much, and I didn't want the Rapide non tubeless wheels. Owing to Covid related chaos, hopefully it will be with me in around 2 weeks.
Any tips on parts to complete the bike? Thoughts so far
- pedals? I have assiomas on another bike and they are fine, but this comes with a PM so maybe Exustar, Speedplay or Dura Ace?
- Vittoria Corsa Speed 25mm set up tubeless as roads here are really good. Maybe latex tubes until I wear out the stock tyres as I guess the standard ones are cheap and nasty.
- Arundel mandible cages? Or aero bottles for fun? Eg Elite or Giant.
- Berk seat clamp parts? Do these even exist?
- Ti bolts?
- Tarmac SL7 stem and spacers?
- other small parts like cassette lockring?
- Discs - going to stick with DA for time being. Discs resembling chain link fence might not be the right place to save weight.
- Di2 Bluetooth thing
- Varia lights
- Sprint shifters
- Edge 130 plus as fed up with my 520 going crazy in the middle of intervals when some sweat drops on it.
Other ideas?

Why would your Edge 520 go mad when some sweat drops on it? Do you mean 820?
If you are replacing an 820 go for a 530, looks really good and has nicer colour screen.

Yeah, that is a hard no in my book. If you are looking for a newer Garmin get the 1030. You will not regret it. Any other Garmin that is older is really just throwing good money away.
