Actually, on that remark, can someone explain to me what's the logic behind the idea that a more spinning pedal "gives more watts"? I'm new to cycling and don't have a lot of experience but from reasoning I can't seem to understand why would that be. I sping my legs but not my feet (of course they move slightly but it's really, really slightly).
if you are referring to the pedal spinning like crazy, the lack of friction on any moving part means less watts is wasted, but for something as slow spinning as pedals, that watt-saving must be so miniscule i cant see how it is worth the incovinience IMO.
At every crank rotation, each pedal rotate one round too. If pedal bearing friction is 'miniscule' then that remark apply to bottom bearing also because it spin at the same speed and combined force from two pedals are roughly what bottom bracket experience.
Just saying, because I hope nobody say pedal friction is irrelevant but bb friction is significant. I personally believe bottom bracket bearing seal and pedal bearing seal drag are both over-rated.

yeah, i've tried some Token BB's that spun like crazy and had very thin grease, but they only lasted a month before the grit got to them, and there was no noticable difference when riding (naturally)

you probably only loose like 0.5-1w with well protected and well greased shimano BBs, and they last a lot longer.
sure, if you have world class legs and are doing some super important TT everything matters, but for regular road racing? not so much.

I'm going to try exustar in a couple of weeks. I'll give feedback later. But it'll take some weeks

Hello!
the Speedplay body has 3 bearings, one of them must be modified so that the Assioma axis is in the correct position.

They work fine for me, but I notice that new cleats are difficult to clip in for the first couple of rides until they get a very slight amount of wear.

Just crazy mark-up for the DUO at the moment. Resellers on ebay & amazon are selling over $200 mark up from original $639 pricing. I'm waiting in the queue at the moment but growing impatience day by day.

I have the Assiomas... no issues with Look grey cleats. Whether they're worn or brand new. just adjust the tension on the pedals to suit and you're good to go.

Same here, I use Assiomas with Look grey cleats... no issues at all.
