Besides something semi/full custom like a Stelbel Nina, what steel gravel framesets are biased towards zing and speed?

There's the Standert Erdgeschoss, the Curve GXR... what else is there?

I'm wondering the exact same thing so keeping an eye on this thread.

I've found a few like the:
  • Rondo Ruut
    Genesis Fugio
    Niner RLT
    Shand Stooshie
That Standert looks great, seem's to tick every one of my boxes too. Just the price...

Ritchey Outback or the VonHoff ACX might be worth a look.

Not steel but titanium, some of the Lynskey gravel frames can be had for a pretty good price.

Niner RLT is not racy, Rondo Ruut is not racy, Genesis Fugio is definitely not racy (and has a reputation of being a bit of a pig), Shand Stooshie is not racy. The Fairlight Secan in a "regular" geometry leans towards racy, but raw exposed cable inners is poop. Ritchey Outback leans towards racy as well.

Interesting! It didn't appear on the Cinelli website.

The clearance is a low at 700x38c, and it would be nice to see a T47 bottom bracket for future compatibility. But the rest looks delicious.

Those are indeed interesting, but the frameset price is painful.

Agreed, it’s generally only boutique brands with semi custom models that seem to do fast gravel/all road bikes.

Also try:

Surly Midnight Special. A little weighty but technically a fast gravel frame as it’s designed as a ‘road bike with extra tyre clearance’.

All City Macho King A.C.E.

What makes you say the Shand Stooshie isn’t fast? Looks comparable to most other similar steel frames for gravel/all-road
