I also am confused about some of the Merckx offerings for 2010 (and 2009!). The US importer does not seem to treat the EXM as part of the 2009 lineup, but I see it still listed on the Merckx Belgium website. Is it in fact still in production? If so, will it continue for 2010? Obviously most of the promotional effort seems to be directed at the EMX-5 and EMX-3, but the EXM's geometry would work a bit better for me. Is the EXM's method of construction and raw materials at the same level as the EMX-5, or does the latter represent a further step in the technological evolution of carbon bike manufacture?
Thanks!
Edward

I assume you are referring to Gita?
-- they have not posted 2010 models (and neither have Merckx announced them formally that I am aware of)
The naming of those two models must among the world's worst marketing cockup... EMX ... EXM... WTF

Agreed on the naming confusion! And yes I was referring to Gita. They don't seem to treat the EXM as in the 2009 lineup, although the Merckx factory site still lists it. Just a decision not to import the EXM into the States?? And do you have any thoughts about how the construction/manufacture of the EXM compares with the EMX?
Thanks!

My wife is going to kill me if I yell, "Woooooooo!" one more time!
They need to post geometry... and WEIGHT!
New Logo... ("M") I'm not sure how I feel about it ... your thoughts?
Seems like the EMX-3 and EMX-5 do not use it though
... they use the previous "X" symbol. (which I prefer!)
The EMX-1 and AMX-1 and AMX-4 only comes in very small sizes...
(the women's models too, but to be expected).
They also dropped the odd sizes - I was thinking of a 55. No more it seems.
Hopefully Gita brings in the SRAM models as I'm not a Shimano guy.
That AMX-5 looks spiffy... have to see how the prices shake out...
Strange that I see no difference between the AMX-5 and AMX-2, even though one is Elite geometry and the other is Performance.
Where's everything made now???
