I recently replaced my 58cm 2019 (G3) Cervelo S5 with a 58cm 2023 (G4) model. 12 Dura-Ace build. As Cervelo made no specific weight gain/loss claims for the G4 I assumed the weight would be about the same. It is. I changed no other parts in the swap, same bar and stem size, bars taped the same.

Specialized 155mm Power Mirror saddle
28c GP5000 TR
52/36 x 11-34
Light Bicycle AR465 carbon spoke
Rotor Aldhu carbon 172.5mm
Sigeyi meter
D/A pedals
Aero axles

I weighed all the little parts in the headset and fork assembly as well as the bare frame. The G4 fork "kit" was a bit lighter but the frame itself was a bit heavier. The two complete framesets eneded up within a few grams of each other. Besides the small aero gains from the >3:1 sections, the big gain for me was being able to run 32mm (or slightly bigger) tires where the G3 was limited to 28's. The OEM computer mount on the G4 was half aluminum, reinforced nylon. The aluminum Barfly that came with my G3 was about 18g heavier.

Weights w/pedals and computer mount. No cages or computer
G3 16.33 / 7.41kg
G4 16.18 / 7.34]kg

1102g G3 frame
1133g G4 frame
579g G3 fork w/ hardware
551g G4 fork w/hardware and 60mm long bolts
134g G3 stem
139g G4 stem
288g G3 bar
274g G4 bar
