I started assembling mine - anyone else have a ~1.5mm gap between the stock headset cap and the bearing cup?

How many generations have there been now and what are the differences?

oh not anticipating a new model this year, this is just a new thread to split up the existing megathread so there's a new one just for the current SL7-derived model.

also - really glad I had the park IR tool for fishing the brake line around the BB on this frame - that "shell inside a shell" construction is kinda neat looking but does not make for easy cable routing.

If memory serves - 2 generations so far
- one that uses og Venge seatpost
- one that uses sl7 forks and seatpost (current one)

There may be one generation before those which is called the s-works allez, so kinda like the forefather of the sprint. It has a very aggressive geometry, more aggressive than the Tarmac series if i remembered correctly. The frame shape looks like normal allez at the time though just lighter and stiffer.

I think their question was largely rhetorical. I predict a bold new colourway with race inspired graphics and a breathtaking limited availability of what will self evidently be the best colourway of the options available. But I'm happy to wait 😁

They did just put out a special edition with 105 Di2. Not terrible but still a lot of money for an alloy bike.

As this is a new topic, i thought it would be nice to have the new colorways listed :)

Could we have the Sprint frame shapes in the regular Allez geometry? It would be a winner for a certain tall rider. I would still have lots of drop. I promise.

Very happy how the assembly turned out. Wasnt happy with all the 3D-printed spacers floating around so sticked with stocked; tidied up the cables under the old venge stem and we are good to go. Red/Rose latex slip will be changed for black one

Pretty happy with how my setups turned out, went from SL7 setup to a Roval 1pc cockpit setup, both were done with 3d printed spacers.

I kinda like the latex tube on the fork as its a subtle way of showing you race the bike. Didnt know there is black latex tubes tho, might look cleaner on some bikes.
