dude their is a huge diff buying a groupset versus a complete bike.
their is cost in assembling a bike plus packaging/shipping.
the solution buy a frame like cadd13 for 1000k USD and spend 1500k online on 105di2 + 1k china carbon disc wheelset and voila you have a sub3500 di2 bike.

Ultegra r8070 rrp: €2209 (2017)
105 Di2 rrp: €1870
So 105 is significantly cheaper than r8070
Again... With the facts... We are talking perceptions, emotions, feelings. Stop with the facts. Please stop!

Yeah, but even then, it's hard to argue that 105 Di2 made electronic bikes cheaper, if they aren't substantially cheaper than they have been in the past. 105 used to be the groupset for "accessible" bikes well below 2000€, and 105 Di2 won't bring electronic to that market.
If the bikes haven't gotten >10% more expensive compared to last gen, it is essentially cheaper. The reality we live in now is with everything costing at least 20% more than pre Covid/Ukraine.

Many companies have put up their prices simply because they could. It seems almost all industries have passed on additional costs (and then some) from the pandemic and now war in Europe to customers. Everyone has been doing it and that's why it seems normal to be talking about 20% more expensive bikes.
Trouble is wages have not kept up and many consumers have already started cutting back on non essential goods.
I'm predicting cheaper bikes in 2023 due to poor sales. You may not quite get your sub-2k CAAD with 105 Di2, but it may be closer than you think.

Its not hard to argue, its a fact. 105 di2 is cheaper than all previous electronic gruppo’s. Maybe wait for bike releases with the gruppo before you make these comparisons.
There will be 105 di2 bikes from ~€2800. Maybe even cheaper with non series cranks and rotors.

I really doubt that. I really do.
Di 105 Di2 will directly compete against a Rival AXS and basically all known brands are 3k upwars. For example Canyon hasnt changed prices fo this generation bikes, but they surely will. Maybe youll see some 3300€ bikes, but Id bet we start 3,5k and upwards. Prices will rise and at least for germany: People are willingly pay everything. Dont know when inflation will put a hold to this, but sure isnt anytime soon.
Anyways: Would you recommend going for a Supersix Evo? Seems like the frame is due for a big overhaul and change and google-rumors I found seem tu suggest a SystemSix SuperSix Mix...

Not sure there will be an update soon. What would they change? Previous Supersix generation was here for about 8 years? Was there some leak from Cannondale?

Supersix has been changed in every 4 years so far.
2007 Supersix
2011 Supersix EVO
2015 Supersix EVO 2
2019 Supersix EVO 3
So you can expect the next one will come in 2023 as 2024 bike. There are many attributes to change to revive popularity, but my bold prediction is moving to BSA (see the current Synapse), although PF30(a) seems to be a fine standard to remain.
edit: overlooked Supersix Hi-Mod in 2009.

105 di2 - 2100 EUR
rival axs - 1172 EUR
Both including chain, rotors, crankset, cassette. No power meters.
I would go for rival axs even if 105 costs the same.
Actually i am thinking about building a winterbike, so i may purchase some.

You probably found some better deal, than i found on probikekit.
But still 697 Eur difference between Rival and 105 is hilarious.

You read the context - the discussion was about bringing electronic shifting to the masses and you said it was a fact that 105 was the cheapest ever electronic groupset.
Again - not a fact and it's not even close.
