According to bikeradar this is the successor of the S-Works 7: "Rather than arriving as a premium addition to the more budget-friendly Specialized Torch shoe range, the Specialized S-Works Torch replaces the high-end S-Works 7, and is said to address a number of issues some riders had with that shoe."

What’s surprising here ?
RRP of the road 7 was a bit lower but things have gotten more expensive in the last years.
It’s a lot of money but I specialized has a shoe range where each customer can get something according to their budget.


By the way on Daniel oss instagram you can see the team coloreway. Pretty much identical to the road 7.

Interesting. Just saw an article on Bike Rumor. Odd that they use the same name, although putting on the S-Works moniker puts it in a higher price point and level. I suppose that's how they have recently been doing several things...like the S-Works Crux vs. the Crux, S-Works Pathfinder Pro vs. Pathfinder Pro.

Haha. Yeah...I'm in the camp where the SW7 had some issues with fit...hoping the SW Torch will resolve some of those nits.
I will buy...but getting rid of Vent and Ares.

Should be identical, both featuring a 1.5mm various wedge built into the design.
