Definately not the 7. No velcro, totally different form. Pretty sure its the unreleased new shoe.
Weren't they updating the BOA dials for the new shoe though? Not sure many people would upgrade if they still had the older dials. One of the big reasons I'm waiting for it.

Li2 dials are also available in a alu variant like on the limited rc9’s from shimano.

Looks like Daniel Oss is rocking the new shoes too, but with Specialized branding. Photos from his instagram (@daniel87oss).

Hey guys,

I have many pics of these news shoes, saw on Paris-Nice. And I was even able to take pictures of the outsole. Definitely, complete new outsole.

You can see all puictures on my article. Sorry, in French, butyou can use Google translate ;-) : https://www.matosvelo.fr/index.php?post ... s-coutures

My Nimbls and Gaernes have the metal Li2 but the new Specialized are definitely using the metal S3s that they have exclusive access to.

The new metal Li2 dials are all over now… definitely prefer them over the full plastic version for grip.

Thanks. Very nice pics. Am somewhat concerned with changes to the sole and the narrower rear - not sure what the goal there is, and I hope the overall fit does not become narrower like with the S-Phyres. The top/boa closure system looks nigh on identical to the 7s - which was the part I was hoping they woudl actually modify.

honestly surprised they went with no flap over the upper instep. Guessing there's more than meets the eye regarding construction of the tongue.

Are these the same S3 boa as the S-Works 7? I was hoping they get the Li2 dials like on the Ares. I am a huge fan of the quick release.

S-Works 7 no longer showing up on the US site? I can't find them. Was looking at them last week and had lots of sizes in stock, not sure why they would take them down.

Any idea on when these are going to be available? Wanting to pick up a new pair for the summer but don't want to buy the 7 if the 8 are just around the corner.

7s are on special in Australia, not that they have many sizes in stock.

this shoe looks interesting to say the least!
i love the fit of the road 7 but the inside edge on the ankle is to high and sits right on top of a bone for me.
i am thinking of taking a knife to a pair of s-works laces to see if i can solve it.
but this looks to be lower at the ankle? at least on the outside of the shoe, did anyone notice if it lower on the inside aswell? really hard to tell through photos when not compared directly.
