Hi,

I recently ordered a Roadlite CF 8 for my father, wanting to do some cycling grand fondos but on a flat bar bike. Hes 63 years old, so wanting a relaxed ridingposition for comfort and nexk/back issues.

Canyon did however make a mistake, and shipped he biked with a 650b backwheel, and a 700 frontwheel. (Both should be 700). To fix this i will have to ship the bike back to Canyon, and get a replacement (probably some policy they have). This ofcourse is a lot of hassle, and since my dad i wanting a relaxed position, i was wondering, cant he just ride with the two different wheels?

The smaller back wheel should produce a slight backwards tilt of the bike, meaning a slacker headtube-angle, would this not make it more relaxed :D? Any comments on this hack?

It will upset the handling of the bike and the BB height unless the circumference of the 650b tire is roughly matches the 700c tire.
