I have a Wahoo Kickr 16' and recently purchased a bike equipped with Sram 12-speed. Unfortunately, Wahoo does not produce a 12-speed XDR driver for my model year trainer.

I was wondering if it would be possible to run the bike on the trainer that has a 11-speed cassette in ERG mode. There would be no need to shift and I would pick a cog somewhere in the middle of the cassette for smooth spinning.

Will it work and not cause damage to the new bike? I don’t plan on using it long-term, just looking to sort out my fit.

THANKS
