Any better climbing wheel set than Campy Hyperon

Eventually settled for a pair of Extralite for $2000 shipping and taxes included at 1080g and 38mm.

I am ok with having to relace them down the road if need be, I'm conscious of the potential risk. I'll report back here after a few ride.

I'm looking for the best all-round wheel that excels at climbing. I'm hesitating between the Campy Hyperon Ultra and the Zipp 353 NSW.

Hyperon Ultra. Light, stiff, proven hub design with very very low maintenance required, and beautiful.

Thank you for your answers , I think I will choose the Duke Baccarra SLR2 Ultra in 36mm, CX Ray and DT 180 , 1150g for around €2000. This seems to be an excellent value for money.

Excellent choice. Isnt that build even lighter like around 1104 grams?

Excellent build quality and 1180g with Tubeless Tape and Valves.

If i wanted lighter i would have gone with the Carbon-Ti X-Hub, would save 30g for ~100€ more (Friend of mine has exactly that built from Ruedas, also very nice build quality)

I'm very happy with my 353nsw.

Speed difference between them and my rapides seems negligible but the comfort of the Zipps are on another level. They roll over rough roads like nothing else.

At <1300g I couldn't find a better all-rounder for big days out.
