I'm not sure about 2 W diff. at 30 kph, but certainly can tell 10 W diff. (old pro one micro skin vs IRC formula RBCC). That was 130 W vs 140 W on good roads, rougly 7.5% diff.

I think I can barely tell a 10W difference at 30km/h. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between GP5K, current Pro Ones and even Goodyear Eagle F1 SS.
When I trained on IRCs on the same crit route years ago, I felt slower. Later I compared the data, and yes, around 30 kph I need ~10 W more power in no/tiny wind days. When I switched to GP5k S TR from Pzero Race TLR, I also felt faster, though I have no same route to compare the data now.

Just received 8 GP5K TT TdF tires. Weights with plastic band, but without the big folded sheet of paper are as follows:

205g, 205g, 206g, 207g, 210g, 210g, 211g, 216g

205g for a tubeless tire is :o the lightest I’ve seen yet.

I also just received 8 25mm Corsa Speeds which still weigh ~230g as they always have.

They’re going into a plastic bin until next spring. No way I’m running these over the winter.

Claimed weight is 215g (they only come in 25mm.)

Pro One TTs were very supple, but I'll reiterate that I suffered endless puncturing with them almost immediately. A friend got seriously hurt when his front tire punctured as well.

I got a sidewall flat that wouldn't seal on my transparent 28mm S TR.
I put in a tube and ordered another tire from biketiresdirect. It arrived 2 days later.
I was able to mount it on my Light Bicycle WR50 very easily and it seated first try with my pump.

Wide wheels such as the WR50 is a tire sidewall killer when paired with a narrow tire. The sidewalls don't stand a chance since it's not protected by the tread. Don't blame the tire.

The only time I could tell a difference between any tire was when I got a Trek Domane with 32c Bontrager R2 hardcase lite. It was a real difference after I switched to S TR in 28. Although I have only had faster tires before that.

Hey All, trying to use the tire pressure calculator. Which casing do the GP5Ks fall under?

“Standard” casing for pretty much all tubeless race tires.

More accurately, it should say when pair with narrow tread tire.

Compare Vittoria Corsa Control with 48.6% tread coverage to Michelin Power Cup with 35.2%. And it's clear that even 23c Corsa Control would have less exposed sidewall than Michelin in 30c. Still, Conti GP5000 tread isn't narrow or wide. It's just around average.

Didn't blame the tire. If I had an issue with the tire, I wouldn't immediately buy the same tire again.

Transparent version.
Front is on since November 2021 with 3k miles on it.
Rear is on since this week with 25mi on it.
I use Orange Seal.
I wish the color didn't go dark so quickly. Image
