In general, how do these bikes ride? I love the look of the Rue's the best, but how do they compare with Crumpton and Parlee or even the Colnago's, Times' Cervelo, etc of the proc=duction frame world?

I guess you are the same person that posted the question on the FWB forum, but here is my reply:
I can't compare the bike with Crumpton, Parlee or Colnago since I haven't ridden those frames. I think Madcow have ridden at least Rue and Parlee, so he can compare those.
In my years of cycling I have owned the following roadbikes:
Klein Quantum Pro
Giant TCR Composite
Scott CR1
Storck CD1.0
Specialized Tarmac SL
I have also tried several Isaac and Ridley frames.
Of the frames listed above, the only frame I disliked was the TCR Composite. That was way to flexy in the front.
My favorite was the Storck CD1.0, super stiff, stable in high speed yet agile and quick handling. My only problem with the Storck is the geometry witch is made for the opposite body type (short legs /long upperbody). So I had the choice of the smallest frame with a long seatpost and 35mm spacers, or the second smallest frame with a short stem.
The Ruegamer has the same handling as the Storck, but with a much better fit.
When it comes to comfort I believe there is only small differences between the frames. Tires, seat and bartape has bigger impact than a frame.

That bike is truly gorgeous. Could I be so annoying as to ask for a few higher quality pics - the ones in your update post are not very good...
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

nice ride.
what's the weight now?

I'll try to take some better pictures. I just have a crappy compact camera, and I'm not good at taking pictures.
The weight is right under 6kg, between 5,8 and 5,9 depending tires and cassette.

absolutely beautiful........
Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?
I sold this bike to a friend years ago, but recently managed to buy it back. I have had many bikes since I sold it, but I missed the ride of this bike.
It has gotten a little heavier (6,4 kg), but in my view better.
Main changes:
Bontrager Aeolus 5 D3
Shimano Di2 R9150 with 2 sets of sprint shifters (brakes are ordered, SR pictured)
Quarq D Four
Berk combo with Ax Sprint shape
