Cheers, appreciated.

Called PayPal this morning and the case has been re-opened as they can see it was delivered.
I asked if they contact the seller to see if the returned items actually arrive.

Answer= No we never do that, as long as we can see from the tracking number it was delivered we issue a refund.

So im filled with a little more confidence after a stressful weekend worrying.

The parts for the C64 build are slowly coming together so i need this frame. Image

Just need FD, RD, Darimo post and EE brakes.

Now the wife wants a swimming pool so this will have to be my last build, well for a while anyway. Image

OK - Bring on the C64 build! A few observations: 1. You will enjoy the direct mount eeBrakes with your Gips (of Obermayers) - I was surprised at the improvememt of direct mount over traditional single bolt mount. Disc brakes? Not required! 2. The incrased trail v your Urgestalt is significant. For me, the high-trail geometry of the Colnago works well; some will say that the steering is too slow for their liking. 3. You can make a light C64. The only 'exotic' parts of my C64 are the saddle (Tune KOM VOR), eebrakes, and Gipfulsturm wheels - and it weighs 6.3kg. It would not take a lot of work to be sub-6. The darimo post alone would save 100g.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

The red Urgestalt frame and forks are lighter than the C64 but all other parts pretty much the same.
Not knowing the weight of the Headset bearings and BB isn't helping with my calculations but I still hoping for around 5.8kg.
Will be my heaviest build but that's certainly not an issue. I just had to get one after all the great ride reports I kept reading.

Well after being mucked around for sooo long by various companies my patience has just run out.

Just called PayPal as the lady said on Monday that I should receive the refund today, after their error and re opening the case only for the guy to say I haven't sent the frame back.

Same sh#t all over again.

WTF. Obviously no update was made.
I can admit I snapped pretty quick.
To the back of the line again.
Disgraceful service, I just can't catch a break.
I'll be calling them every day next week for sure.

Just want my money back so I can order my C64.

What an absolute mess. You really have had no luck with the C60. I was really looking forward to your build thread as well as I picked up a second hand C60 frame just before Christmas and was looking forward to your build for inspiration.

Hope you manage to get it resolved with Paypal and you get the C64 ordered!

It sure is.
No luck with any company really.
Darimo sent the wrong bars 3 times.
Have waited since June for my saddles from Jure.
Now with the C60 problems I've just about had enough.
I'll be looking out for your build.
What colour C60. ?
Have you decided on what parts you'll be using. ?
Im hoping so, sooner than later.

Its a 52S PLBK

I've just finished building it up with what I had sitting in the parts bin or taken from another build and had very quick test ride. No exotic at this point I'm afraid.

The plan is to just try and pick up replacement parts and and when they either appear on ebay or forums. Seatpost has already been replaced with a Deda Superleggero.

I hope you got sorted with Paypal!

More bad news, story of my life atm.

I got the freight company to email the seller to see if he received the frame and he said no, as he wasn't in Perth at the time.

Who ever delivered the frame took pictures where he left it but he shouldn't have done that anyway as a signature was required.

What an absolute idiot. Cant believe one person can cause such an expensive stupid mistake.

Now i have to try and fight the freight company to get my money back.
Not getting my hopes up at all. I expect its going to be a long painful process and i know im not going to get back what I paid for it but I'm certainly going to do my best.

I think I can wave goodbye to my C64 for a long while.

The delivery guy knew what he was doing. He was either too lazy to find the guy for a signature or he didn't want to return the next day to make another delivery attempt.

As I see it you have bought a service and it was not performed, and as a cosequence you have suffered a loss. You should first take it up with the delivery company and then the ACCC.

Just had a long talk with my best mate whos a lawyer he's coming around to write up a letter to the freight company. He's 100% confident ill get my money.
There is photo evidence of the parcel being left without getting a signature so basically the delivery guy is screwed.
Wonder if he will have a job tomorrow. .

This build has been doomed from the beginning.

I have now seen the picture and the parcel was left in plain sight at the front door.

Can't tell me that's even in a safe place as described.
