Built up my new Seven Axiom XX frameset paired with lightweight components. I copied the exact geo of my 52cm Supersix as that I loved the handling of that bike- but wanted to try something different.

My goal was to have the awesome ride quality of titanium without too much of a weight penalty- so accept that Ti will weight more- but keep the total build under 8 kgs.

The bike feels incredible - Seven has lived up to its well deserved reputation. The wheels are exceptional too- I actually prefer them to the Enve 2.2's I was coming off of.

Total build as shown (power meter, pedals, etc.) is 7.5 kgs- I'm very happy with the end result.

Frame: Seven Axiom XX (geo based on 52 cm Evo)
Fork: Enve road
Groupset: Red AXS
Bars: THM Ulna
Stem: THM Tibia
Seatpost: THM Mandibula
Saddle: SLR Kit Carbonio Flow Saddle
Pedals: Time Xpresso 15
Cages: Enve
Wheels: DT Swiss PRC 1100 DICUT 25 Year Anniversary

After years of carbon bikes, I'm sticking with Titanium and currently have Seven Mobius SL mtb in production...

I just love Seven bikes

I have a Sole SLX and that frame is the best (for me )

.....that said then I think it is a shame that the rear brake tube ain’t internally.

For me it ruins the the build.....

I hear you- Seven just outright refuses to route internally. At least when I'm riding it I can't see the cable :)

I race with a guy who rides a Sola- he also swears by it. Sounds like a great bike.

Love my Sevens. Nice build that.

And allelujah! They are now doing internal routing:

Bound to add weight, but knowing Seven it will be well executed.

How does that seatpost ride? Much flex?

Sorry, didn't weigh it seperately before building it up.

I only notice the seatpost flexing a little over hard hits (ie when I hit a pothole accidently). It seems to primarily provide a good amount of dampening while still feeling stiff.

Comparatively, I have the Cannondale Save seatpost on another bike and that flexes all the time. I can feel the constant movement even though I only weigh 61 kgs. Very annoying.

Any updates on the seatpost after a few extra months since the above comments?

Hey Rich, seatpost has been performing perfectly. I have a few thousand miles on the bike and the seatpost just works- no slipping with cradle, etc. Very happy with it.

Great, thanks - glad to hear that as I got carried away and ordered one not long after I asked!

I really like this bike, this is what I want for my next bike.

Apparently Seven now do internal brake line.

Any update on the ride?
