Hello everyone,

This is my ax lightness vial evo, It’s 6.3kg

Thank you everyone here that given me some advice/idea esp wheelonfire

The obvious things to further reduce weight will be the wheels but I try to keep on my budget. Any suggestion will be great

Stunning bike.

A build list might help a little.

Although I'm an all-black bartape guy, I kinda like this. It suits the bike nicely.

Not a ton of room on this build to drop weight unless you're willing to drop some serious coin. The first place I'd start, other than the wheels as you mentioned, would be the seatpost. You could easily drop 50+ grams right there.

I purchased an Aliexpress Carbon post for about $30 that comes in at around 155 grams after I hacked off about 130mm. But you can find much lighter.

Next, although DA pedals are great, they are comparitively heavy. I went with Speedplay Chromoly and swapped the spindles for J&L titanium spindles. 160 grams for the pair. That would save you about 90 grams right there.

You could probably drop about 20 to 30 grams on the stem with a Kaloy Uno. 110mm is about 100 grams with titanium bolts.

Same suggestions:
-stem—>Kalloy or Extralight
-seat post—>AXLightness or aliexpress
-wheels—> many choices here simply dependent on budget
-pedals—> Time 15 pedals are the lightest and yet very robust with large engagement and platform area

Also, depending on what fork expander and cap you have, you might be able to save some grams there. Same for the seatpost collar.

For pedal, Shimano Dura ace are great and "heavy" but you can put Ti axle on it to save 40gr.

Thanks for the advice
The bike actually come ax lightness seatpost with a 0 degree setback, but my bike fitter suggest a 25mm setback
I will likely take your advice on the stem!

How do you change the time axle on a dura ace pedal please

Thinking to change to bora 35 clincher
