i would like to introduce my new racing machine
custom Scott Scale RC 700 SL
The foremost objective was to have an extremely light and stiff, reliable and a beautiful and harmonious/clean bike
And that is the result after 4 months assembling and tuning:
this beautiful Carbon lady with custom made Scott decals in chrome with oil slick effect and finaly 6.285g
in the following posts i will show the assembling and tuning process of different parts

Good work man! Looking forward to seeing more
Second this, the bike is great. Btw, why did you choose to go with Biturbos instead of a custom sub-1kg wheel build? That and some other choices might have led to a 6kg exactly or slightly less.

I guess there's worse hobbies than making a bike light? Right?
Super nice build, I love seeing stuff like this. You could still save a reasonable amount of weight by switching to Ashima rotors though. I'm also not sure how well the trickstuff brakes work, but my Tune Kill Hill's work great and are about 40g lighter.
i tried ashima aineon rotors on my Scale build before, they were big bullshit coz they were too hot and the brake effekt was a katastrophe. I thought about the ai2 but finaly i decided for the dächle.
But the ai2 are also alternative to save 2 x 20 g = 40g
the biturbos are for better look coz they are the best looking wheels for MTB you can get.
Ok they are with 1180g bit heavy. I have a pair duke luky jack with extralite hub, they are about 1100g
The biturbos are planed for my other build I am on working now, a Scott Spark.
And so the other wheels wanna change to this Scale build, but before i will need lighter rims.
Do you can recommend a very light und stiff rim for 27.5?

Moyo, great bike and build thread! Please keep the updates coming. My friend has a pair of the Bike Ahead AC Ones (29" 1079g) and really likes them. Coincidentally, his are on a light Scale build too. Due to the hub design, he could transfer them over to his new boost bike so he ended up going with the Grigio Carbon rims laced to Extralite hubs. I think his 29" wheelset was 1009g, for 27.5 these should be under 1000. He has been riding his wheels a lot and has no complaints, so I would recommend those are a light and stiff option to consider.
