Definitely going to consider some carbon wheels for it too

Decided on a hylix zero seatpost with Ti hardware as the price/gram ratio is so good. Second only to the kalloy uno stem..

Still thinking about the bars. I’m inclined to stick with alloy. Suggestions?

Loosely decided to go with all Ultegra 6800, but a BB30 native crank. Short listed the Rotor 3D.

I still have the old FSA SL-K 44cm bars I might reuse for now.

The rebuild is in full swing, I sold my Propel to focus on this.

I should have the custom decals (much more minimal than the standard scheme) sorted by next week and then I’ll be sending the frame and fork off for professional paint the week after.. it’s going to be a fluoro colour that’s all I’m saying.

I’ve pieced together a full Ultegra 6800 groupset to use on the bike.

It will be heavier than before when it had the Red 10 speed but I’m much happier on Shimano.

Hopefully there will be enough left in the bank for some carbon wheels once the build is complete. If not my existing Kinlin/Aivee wheelset (1460g) is a lovely riding wheelset for the meantime.

Frame is at the painters for refinishing .. no decals, all paint.

A custom mixed red with gold lettering and brushed aluminium rear triangle is the order.

Ultegra 6800 group .. kmc chain, FSA bb30-24 reducers, Aican bungaru cables ready to go .. just waiting for KCNC cb9 brakes to arrive. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByMYKCyn3Ok ... 9a3i2d7hqf

Fabric Tri Ti saddle, Tacx Diva cages, K-Edge Garmin Mount with Ti bolts and supacaz tape. I have black and white saddles so will see what looks best when the frame is back from the painter.

Everything is getting individually weighed as I build the frame up.

I finally found some proper image hosting.
I got the frame back from the painter now it’s all in solid red.

Built up .. put some Cannondale Escape Hanger carbon bars I got for a steal and supacaz bar tape.
Also got some carbon cages and had them custom painted.

Next up some carbon wheels .. probably upgrade the seatpost and stem at some point also.

Current weight is 7.5kg even.

I’m glad you asked .. for some reason I couldn’t attach images directly to posts from my devices for a while but now it works again!

As above pretty happy with the bike now .. may change the finishing kit up a bit, and add some carbon wheels but overall it’s time to ride the hell out of it.
