help - bottom bracket

n00b question here.
my bike had a SM-BB72, the only thing i found around all shops near-by was the model SM-BB71.
Basically looks the same, just the middle section seems longer... But the seller told me to use the old one.
Can i install whitout any problem?
ofc i'm ordering the same ad the default one, but until it arrive i definitely need to have smt fitted on my bike.
