How about using a thinner spoke on the NDS? That way you get more equal spoke elongation on both sides, helping to keep the rim centered during vertical and rotational forces, as well as preventing NDS spokes from coming loose.

Flange diameter has sod all impact on tension balance. Do the maths if you don't believe me.
Radial lacing heads out will result in lower lateral stiffness as the spoke is effectively further inboard which is why the spoke tension will be higher.
Thinner spoke can work well for disc brake wheels but as the resulting wheel is less stiff, loads ( braking, pedalling or side loads) will result in larger length changes in the spokes and therefore faster spoke fatigue. Clear thinking is required.
However to answer the op's question carbon ti x-hub disc is the next lightest large flange hub after extralite. More reliable as well.
