BTP carbon cage - carbon fiber or plastic ???

Fake or cosmetic carbon is pretty easy to spot if you know what you are looking for. In sunlight real carbon fibre has a kind of depth to it, you can see into the structure. This is not the case with cosmetic carbon.

a real CF cage is really really thin. plastics are thicker.

In general BTP made good products many years ago, but with today´s standards they arent that good.
I have repaired too many BTP stuff to be impressed.
