I also have the KMC DLC chain and it holds it color just fine. I use Chain-L lube though.
Ahki, is there some reason you run yours without lube?

Hi jbanv8, I think it's pure laziness and having oil here in London just makes it reall gunky.
I figured it has a fine coat already and I got a Ceramic coated Cassette and Fiberlyte pulleys that run on ceramic sleeves instead of bearings, will give it a try and see how long it hold up for.
through rain and shine I have clocked up about 2000 to 2500km and it appears to be holding up though parts of it has some wear.

That's an awfully pricey drivetrain to run with no lube - especially in the wet and grit, ceramic coating or no.
Surely for the cost of that cassette (even when ebayed) the thing is worth a 2-minute lube/clean job now and again.

I have a self lubricating Yban chain . I would imagine this with the ceradure would work as a non lube set up . I tried running no lube with my Yban but it runs a bit smoother with a tiny amount of lube I use the white ceramic lube . You put a tiny amount on then wipe the excess off. Thats why I was interested in your cassette to see how it holds up . I run a 11/26 . If Ceradure get round to making a 11/.26 I will give it a go .
Check out the Yban chains there ti one is the lightest in the world 210grms.
