Canyon CF SLX, LEW, 5.74 Kgs

This has taken me nearly 6 months to finish and i'm not quite there yet.
Everything is second hand except for the bars and pedals and I've had to improvise a bit to make it work. Big thanks to Eran Caspi and the guys in his shop (club?) who patiently helped/tolerated me and also to farm_lim for the headcap - which I need to paint black.
As it stands it's 5.74 Kgs.
It originally had one bottle cage and I preferred it this way but I found myself needing more water during races.
I'm not convinced by the aesthetics of the cages but they hold bottles well and look OK on the scales (10g each).
Could not find anywhere to buy the 9g BTP cages which are the lightest that I could reasonably accept without sacrificing function and reliability.
Also, at some point a lighter crank may be needed and I'd like to find some KCNC brakes, but not sure.
I also tried a lighter, non-setback post, it looked a little wrong and I went back to the stock Ritchey offering.

Looks great! Are those tubbies for training only or for racing as well? You could safe some grams and get some nicer tubbies without sacrificing too much durability.

@mdeth1313, I'm still ambivalent about the Exustars, I actually purchased them after reading some of your posts.
The price and the weight are excellent, they just don't feel as secure as the keos, there is noticeably more float and clipping out is difficult. I'm going to perservere for the next few weeks, I really want to like them and maybe it's just new pedal syndrome. Perhaps I have to just make the usual adjustments until I adapt. I'm always a little frustrated if a new purchase doesn't magically turn me into Pantani!

@Kastrup, good point, what do you suggest? These tubs have been on the wheels for a while and are filled with pitstop - the roads in my country are more akin to skips. Although we're advanced enough to have introduced recycling bins into the local populace, they are still a little unsure as to their purpose and tend to stick with what they've always known. Hence, hard shoulders are for glass bottles and other objects arranged from crystallized quartz!

I have not raced on the LEWS, I have some 303s which have no where near the same ride quality but are far more reliable. The LEWs are akin to a beautiful woman - they are a high maintenance commodity, and I don't entirely trust them.
