Hi guys, scandium (Easton Sc7000) is suppose to be lighter and stronger than most other aluminiums.
I can get a frame with a weight of 1.18kg/2.6lbs. A 56cm and the weight includes bottle cage bolts, paint and the seatpin. Compact geometry, but not as compact as say a Giant. The BB has a steel insert, and the frame also a little brace welded between the chainstays, close the bb, to increase stiffness.
Is this weight what one would expect from a scandium frame? give me any comments that can help me. Any other detail, just ask, thanks!!
