very nice indeed, would love to see some of the older square tapered record carbon cranks though just to add even more elegance to the build

pretty impressive all-celeste build! even though for me personally it's a little too much celeste, it still looks pretty cool! but there's one thing that (imho) doesn't match the rest of the build: the fork. yes, it is a classic shape but i believe it is too slim, too thin. you've got that massive downtube and that massive bar-stem-combo and those little fork legs look a little lost there... is that a 1" or a 1.125" headset/steerer?

I would go for black saddle, black bar tape and black Bianchi logo on both sides of the stem.

Today I did my first kilometers on it and I absolutely loved it. Stiff, responsive, yet the comfort of the handlebar is also another dimention compared to my other rides. Given, I did my last three seasons on a Merlin Extralight with Syntace F99/Schmolke SL combo so comparing that with an oldfashioned oversized alu frame with Stealth bar/stem combo is comparing apples and oranges. But hell, I've build this for fast group rides with the Merlin for long distance solo rides and climbing and I think I made the right choices.

Happy new year to all forum members from a very happy Timo :D

1" (full carbon steerer) with an alu shim to fit the stem.

Actually that's a matter of light. Because it is a different material the saddle sometimes looks off compared with the frame and sometimes it looks spot-on. To proof this...

Me myself would be the first buyer if Bianchi did a more classic looking carbon frame with a classic Bianchi celeste paint job like yours!

Very, very nice. Looks fantastic.

How does it ride? And out of curiosity, what's the final weight on the build?

Stiff, very stiff, very hard. Typical 1990's oversized frame and the handlebar adds to that stiffness. But I like it that way, I've build it specifically for short but fast group rides with my Merlin Extralight for longer rides. Dunno about the weight yet, I'll put it on the scales next time I visit my LBS

Fantastic, I love it when owners have a vision and really take the time to execute it flawlessly. Congrats

Bike looks great, I would go black brake calipers to match the hoods and crank, otherwise perfection!

Just what I was thinking. The combination of Celeste and black really works and black brakes would really finish it off (IMO)
