Hi all, looking to ordera pair of these today in the wide version, but not sure about sizing.
In Bont, I was a 45.
Shimano I am 44.5.
Sidi would be 45.5.

I know I'll either need a 45 or 45.5.....
Anyone who has these, can you please comment on the sizing?

Thanks!!!

These run at a half size larger than Sidi.

And the wide version is VERY nice. Super roomy compared to most shoes and the moldable rear is particularly nice as I have a wide front and average rear of foot.

Just to clear it up for me, since I am interested in this too, do you mean that if you use a 44 in Sidi that you should go with a 44.5 in the Lakes or that you should go with a 43.5 in the Lakes since they are larger than the Sidis for a given size?

FACK!

That's a good point... I hate it when people leave it open

Order a half size smaller in lake than Sidi.

If you take a Sidi 44, order 43.5 Lake.

Sizing is difficult. Best to try them on or buy from a place with a return policy. That said, I wear a 45.5 Sidi and a 45 Lake.

FWIW, It seems to be the same up and down the size range. Just got emails back from two people and the same half size dif happens in 46 and 42...

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but I'm lazy today and it's almost Thanksgiving. What is the stack height difference between these and the Sidi Ergo2 carbons? Would I have to adjust the saddle height?

Thx

Hi,

The Lakes have a few mm less stackheight than Sidi so you'll probably have to lower the seatpost a bit.

Ciao, ;)

As Pez stated above, half size smaller. If you take 45.5 Sidi, go for a 45 Lake.

Received a pair of lake cx401 wide fit in size 45,5.

For specialized, shimano, northwave in need 45 or sometimes 45,5. So i guessed 45,5 for Lake must be OK. Shoes feel really nice on my feet, but perhaps a bit too big. I haven't put the m in the oven yet.

What happens with the sizing after the heatmolding, can they get a snugger fit or do they get larger?

The lakes have something that is a little annoying. The range of adjustment of the cleats is further back than most shoes.

In my case its impossible to get the pedal axle underneath the ball of the feet.

Size wise I think they run either Sidi size or half a size smaller.
