Snapped chainring bolt - am I doomed?
Moderator: robbosmans
I'm in a hotel in east London, it's late at night and I'm getting up at 5am to ride the route of the 1st TdF stage with a bunch of journalists. I was doing a bit of last-minute fiddling and have snapped a chainring bolt. It's a huge event, so I may be able to find one somewhere at the start, but if I can't, how do fellow WW's rate my chances of riding 120 miles with 4 remaining bolts?!

You'll be fine. I've seen people riding daily with only 3 chainring bolts. Their reason -- "it's lighter"

Cool - thanks for the reassurance (I might be able to grab a few hours of panic-free sleep now!)
