I currently have mine installed under my BB shell, its less than ideal and I did this temporarily because cos I hated it strapped to my Stem. Even before the Shimano EW-RS910 solution or the skunkworks bikes version I had planned to try and do something myself similar by breaking apart the junction box and trying to hide the circuit board in the bar end. I just never finished doing this after rewiring my brifters directly to the B junction.
Others have put theirs under the seat with a hole drilled through the seat post... which I was also considering.

Unfotunately it does not work without it. I've tried doing exactly that myslf.

you can put it in the seat tube if you dont mind removing the seat post for charging and adjustment.

Maybe I can put the junction A in the frame and buy a second Junction A that I can mount on te rear derailleurcable when I must reload the battery?

not necessary- when using routing like in attachment pic you can connect two EW-SD50 wires under seat using new 2-port b-junction "Shimano EW-JC200"
to charge: disconnect green wire from EW-JC200, connect BCR2 charger with modded wire (from previous post) to ew-jc200
after charging: disconnect BCR2 charger with modded wire from EW-JC200, connect back green wire (all wires on bike are unmodified, only charger wire is modified)

I just remembered..
On my previous frame I mounted the junction box on the seat tube under the water bottle cagey was barely noticeable. So the cable that would normally go into the front derailleur went into the junction box instead and then I used a short cable from the junction box to the front derailleur.
I just taped the box to the seat tube but had intended to buy a long mount (I think raceware make them) and cut off the part that would normally go around the stem, drill a hole and secure it behind the water bottle cage.
Got hit by a car which destroyed that frame before I got the chance to finish it though
But it was a pretty neat and functional set up. The only restriction was that you can't press the button to adjust gears while riding...which isn't really a big problem
