Colnago C60 - why is HT angle a secret?
Moderator: robbosmans
I love the way my C60 rides regardless of what the HT angle is but I find it strange that Colnago chooses to keep this info secret. It would be handy to know the HT angle for comparing it to other frames that I am considering. Does anyone know what the C60's HT angle is and why Colnago feels the need to keep this from the public? I suppose it could be measured on a dead-level surface with an accurate digital angle gauge.

Maybe they don't know either.
They probably keep a few measurements off the tables (ie, HT angle, BB drop, etc:.) in order to minimize the possibility some other brand will mimic their geometries, and in theory along with that, ride qualities. That is most likely their thinking in doing that.

Or maybe every frame is a little different...it is Italian made, after all! ;P
If SS means Headtube angle it's not a secret anymore.

Yes, the headtube angle is listed in the geometry tables online.
Colnago C64 - The Naked Build; Colnago C60 - PR99; Trek Koppenberg - Where Emonda and Domane Meet;
Unlinked Builds (searchable): Colnago C59 - 5 Years Later; Trek Emonda SL Campagnolo SR; Special Colnago EPQ

They have BB drop too, now! I don't know why they used to omit easily measured numbers.

I bought my C60 almost a year ago and at that time the HT angle wasn't listed but I hadn't bothered to revisit the geo page
