Sorry for bringing up this old thread, but maybe there are some helpful thoughts on my issue:
To upgrade my girlfriend's Supersix Evo (previous gen, came with aluminum handlebar) we have been looking for a Superergo LTD in 38cm for quite some time, but no shop in Germany has it available. We also placed a preorder at TNC, but they have no information on the expected shipping date. I found one on eBay from "universal.cycling" (
https://www.ebay.de/itm/295906073744) and I thought I'd give it a try...
I received the handlebar yesterday. It has been shipped in plastic wrap only and it does not have the warranty card attached. Despite that it looks very genuine... Weight with the routing cables almost exactly 200g. But I am not sure whether it is a very good fake or genuine... the seller on eBay has accepted my request for return shipment and no words on the warranty card thing yet... (asked him for an explanation)
EDIT: Seller's response: "it is an OEM product and therefore does not have the warranty card"
Non of the numbers are recognized by
https://company.3t.bike/productregistration/ - i think the right format of the SN (that would be on the warranty could) would be "BBB" + the 6 digits from the sticker + 3 letters
Any thougts? Price with taxes and shipping was ~ 300 Euro.
EDIT: Answer from 3T support came faster than expected: They don't know the seller, but they think it is genuine
