I was trying an early production one out on my De Anima and liked it a lot. On the strength of that I bought this one which feels a little firmer. We'll see next week of that is an issue!

An update

C13 - great for sterrata. Just enough flex.
Bike is doing fine despite an unplanned excursion on a very dilapidated section of Strade Bianche. A landslip necessitated me walking the bike round it was so muddy. Then I couldn't clear my cleats enough to chip in for 10km!Image

Well today was the day. What a day it was! Cloud, sun, then cloud. Then light rain followed by heavy rain. That turned to hail with strong winds, with a hint of possible sun dangled but never materialising. Finally more rain. I have never had such a hard & rewarding day on a bike. XCR is absolutely gopping. It's actually cleaner than it was on arrival at Siena. Heavy rain washed much of the mud away. :(

Might have to reconsider the Eroica.

Xcr seems like perfect choice for those roads.
