Really sure about that? I'd like to buy a Potenza 11-32 cassette, but I have a Super Record 2015+ rear derailleur. Can my RD handle a 32 teeth sprocket?
Don't confuse chainwrap with clearance. They are 2 different things.
Chainwrap is the difference between the chainrings plus the difference over the cassette. for instance (50-34) + (11-32) = 16 + 21 = 37T. So, no a short cage will not handle that. A 53-39 crankset gives 35T with that cassette. So no to that as well.
Clearance is down to both the RD design and the hanger dimension, so frames may differ as to whether or not a 32T big sprocket can be cleared.

Thanks for the reply. By the way, do you expect replacing the SR short cage with an Athena 11v medium cage will do the trick?

You still would have a problem with a 2015 SR shifter and Athena RD. They are not compatible.
If you mean switching cages, then maybe. But I have zero knowledge as to whether or not it can be done.

Sorry, my fault. I mean replacing only the cage, SR short cage goes out, Athena medium cage goes in, so you still have both the SR RD and the SR shifter. Will the Athena medium cage fit in a SR RD?
