Got our hands on a C60 frameset - photos on our facebook page - just follow the link below

The Seat Tube and Down Tube are massive!!!!!

BB was interesting - a large hole with an alloy insert, with screw in cups, that will then house an 86mm pressfit BB!!

fork was the same as the C59 fork - double checked it!

can't wait to get one built up and test ridden now :D

Thanks for posting. I guess the expression "form follows function" certainly applies here.

@calnago - thanks for the info on the MTBK you are building. I guess it all depends on the dealer you are using to get those special orders. I found it quite hard to get the colour scheme I wanted when I was ordering my C59 so ended up going for the stock options.

I was doing some research on the C60 bottom bracket, and I guess that I'll need these cups to fit my Chorus Cranks:

http://www.campagnolo.com/jsp/en/groups ... atid_3.jsp

and I'll have to spend some more cash to buy a press fit tool too. Campagnolo says I have to use their own otherwise I might die:

"The use of any other tool may cause damage to the cups and lead to accidents, injury or death"

There is a video on youtube showing how it's done

Well that is my understanding also. I've been doing some research for a build myself.

Are there any recommendations for a suitable press fit tool? Campag's £80 offering is a bit steep... I have only used a very very cheap one when installing a headset before.

Yes, they are the correct cups you'll need
Yes, the campag press fit tool works best - but you will find that any decent bearing press tool can be organised to do the job!

Surely the dealer you buy from will be decent enough to press your cups in for zero cost?

I have some doubts on the fact that C59 (2012) and C60(2014) forks are the same.

I really love my C59 and M10. And I must say that for my possibilities and power their stiffness is enough :-)
I have some doubts on the C60 esthetics and behaviour. On my Opinion, tubes are too large, too square. It looks like a exaggerated caricature of the C59. I think Colnago will continue to sell C59 for some years :P

Thanks.
Right. On your picture of C59 2014 fork seems to be different than my C59 2012 fork, but same with C60 fork.
One model production is probably easier than two different models

Does anyone else think they might have been able to find a spot for the charging socket, that was not quite as exposed to spray and dirt from the road?

Thanks for that Tortor - I think maybe the stock images (computer generated in the Colnago IT dept) don't have the exact items - we've checked through our 2014 C59 and they have all had the same fork!

@wassertreter - yes, charging point positioning will require more thinking in the future!
Fondriest put it on the seat tube, just above the BB area

It seems that there are 2 different versions of fork for the C59

@markyboy
Well that's my explanation for the difference out the window!!
Maybe the very first batch came with the 2013 fork sprayed up in 2014 colours?

@markyboy

In fact it must be that - as I've just noticed you have external EPS, which was only on the very very first batch of 2014 frames

The second and third edition come without the powerunit bracket plate underneath, just a charging point for internal V2 system
