Have been using planet x on my 3 bikes, so far so good.

What skewers are rigid, big nobs, yet light.. Throw some suggestions ppl.
I said it before but check out the extralite aliens 3. Awesome, huge clamping lever with great engagement feeling. 55g.

I've used KCNC but found I couldn't keep them from creaking for more than a ride or two at a time. I like a lot of what is written about the Extralite Aliens. Do they have a greater clamping force than KCNC?
At the moment I'm running standard Campag because the KCNC gave me so many problems. I'd be interested in a light-but-not-lightest skewer that never needs attention.

Try the Mt Zoom ones, http://mtzoom.com/skewers/the-monroe/ 37g a pair! I've had them for a couple of years on my road bike, no issues at all, stiff and strong as ever.
Got some Tune ones on my spare bike, they are heavier and also shorter which means to take the front out you have to remove the end completely and then spend the next twenty minutes looking for the tiny spring. The Mt Zoom ones even have normal size springs.
