I wouldn't use any regular seatpost battery holder for something like that - there are others too: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/inter ... ery-holder

adding 100mm should be ok... I'd probably go a bit longer on the seatpost battery. That wire will have to run from the junction B to the top of the seatpost and then a bit further.
(when you're taking the seatpost out or installing the battery)

Would it be ok wrapping the battery with a innertube?

I would just give it a go and see what happens. If it doesn't work then you can always get the 3T Strada battery holder (https://www.3t.bike/en/spare-parts/stra ... r-613.html I think)

I'm in NA. Might have to pull the trigger if innertube hack doesn't work.
