very low profile piston from their "pancake brake" disc caliper. we'll see what company integrates this into a frame first.

Whoa. That looks neat. How much travel could those pads have? I'm guessing you'll just have to compensate for different rim widths with spacers.

What brake levers do they intend those to be used with?

Since it's near the pivot point, it shouldn't affect steering much. It might add a few hundred grams to the front wheel load, but that's completely swamped by even small changes in body position. So I don't see how it will be an issue. But I'm just guessing.

I am curious if Velocity will release an oc version of the A23 rim (in silver). Any other new wide oc rims as well.

Yes, it is confirmed. The rep at the Velocity booth showed it to me. I think I took pictures of it, but I will need to upload it on here.
