Castelli and Assos bib shorts?

Anyone here can compare the quality of the chamois pad of chinese bib shorts to Assos or Castelli?
I understand they're (very likely) to be miles apart in quality, but I can't justify the cost..
And to be honest, the stitching around the pads gives me a little chaffing.

Honestly, don't bother.

Better to go mid-priced Castelli bibs (or even decent shorts), if the budget is tight. There are plenty of decent options out there...start a thread for budget bib shorts and you will get plenty of suggestions that are not horribly made like some of the Chinese stuff.
