This one form Powerfull Pete, My motivation of picking this picture is simple. Pete is a very, very busy guy who moved from the mainland of cycling to the US. In the midst of winter he found the time and mental strength to start riding again. this picture symbolizes that for me.
This one from Tinea Pedis as I like the angle and color in the shot. Also, I'm envious of the weather our antipodean friends are having.

This one is not all that "wintery" by North American standards, but I love the composition- it really gives a sense of the steepness of the climb (often hard to capture) and the effort of the riders
My second favorite is the one Frankie posted from Powerful Pete- I especially like the white bike against the white fence against the snow.
