Thanks for the feedback, well Litespeed is my first choice since more than a decade. From the early Catalyst, Obed, Unicoi up to last years Sewanee all frames are beautifully welded. All of them - old and new generation are pieces of art!

Okay, most parts have arrived so now I'll have to build my new bike. Just waiting for the fork and the bottom bracket.

They frame is very old. Early 1990's. I stripped the paint coat and had it sand blasted. The result is very pleasing, looks like the matt finish of Moots frames. I then applied new white Merlin decals.

Here is my take on Ti. It has a ti top tube and down tube and the rest is carbon. The frame weight is 1100g in the stock 56 cm size and the whole bike is just under 16lbs without trying! The nice thing about this model is that it still retains the bb stiffness (about 20% stiffer than the Madone) and gives the overall feel of a smooth ti bike.

And yes, you can paint Ti, if you do it correctly!

Very interesting to see the actual joint wrapping filament. I think it blends nicely with the wavy form of the paint motif.

Can i ask what handlebars are those on your Ghisallo?

footwerx.....they are made by pro carbon. Certainly not ww at between 260 and 270 grams. I purchased them from a retailor on ebay. Outstanding service. They are unbelievably comfortable and the way that I wrap them I save an extra 30 grams on bar tape. I think I got them for $158.00 shipping included. His seller name is aspirevelotech and I believe his name is Mike. Hope this helps.
