Can you tell me a specific bearing supplier (a trust-worthy one) that will sell NTN 6803 and 6903 bearings? All using standard bearings, either in their products, or the machines they use to make their products. 6000 series are everywhere as they have such a useful range of speeds/loads/sizes.
So most bearing suppliers trade counter would either have them in stock, or be able to order from another store in the chain at a fairly reasonable price. Or an equivalent (size/tolerance/grease fill/whatever).
I've even worked at places where i could literally go down to stores and take a handful off the shelf as they are using so many that it's not worth keeping track of them. I suspect they've put a stop to that by now!
Current location is not very many km from SKF HQ, so i used to be able to buy their top spec bearings direct from their trade counter. Which has now closed. (sad face)
Always always set up a trade account if you can. Used to get at least 30% discount.

Last time i bought high end bearings was nearly 10 years ago and in Sweden. Last time i dealt with anyone in the UK was more like twice that. So even if CO isn't Colorado, it's not going to be much use.

Only almost "bike specific" bearings i've had a hard time finding from bearing shops in the UK have been from US manufacturers.

Yeah, that was a (very) early project for me. Converting a good number of old machines in a rather large factory to suitable metric bearings. Without impacting on production........ unfortunately a chemical factory, so taking a load of old (but extremely custom) bearings and trying to find a current metric equivalent.
Caused a lot of heart in mouth moments. And caught a few suppliers out being economical with the truth! "corrosion resistant" bearings that only last 20 minutes before they've lost 10% their mass is only the beginning!

Earlier I made a comment that I can't find a supplier for quality bicycle bearings made by NTN. You disagreed and said it's a mystery why I said what I said. Now you are telling me that you haven't bought a bearing in 10 years? Then why bother posting to this thread if you haven't bought a bearing for that long?

Because i've found two suppliers within easy striking distance of me this weekend. Both of whom sell NTN (SKF/FAG/INA) in an assortment of sizes. This is of no use to you as i'm in a foreign country. I'm not even sure they will ship outside of Scandinavia.
Just order them from Hambini.

I call them bicycle bearings because it's easier to type 'bicycle bearings' than to type 'bearings for bicycles'. I don't care about bearings not used on bicycles. I have a hard time finding bearings for bicycles. Grainger is a big industrial suppler here in the U.S. They carry NTN but they don't carry the sizes used on bicycles.

Thanks. Nothing funny about not being able to find a supplier in the U.S. I wonder if it has to do with the metric sizing of bicycle bearings. The common bearings used here have the imperial sizing.
I just need a little clarification on this. Do White Industries use standard bearings? I thought they were one of the odd ball companies making their own bearings?

I know they make their own bearings, I believe they are angular contact sealed bearings. I don't know what sizes they come in but I don't think it's the same as other common bearings used on bicycles.

White Industries uses standard bearings. The T11 fronts use 6901 and the rear uses 6902 and 3802(? - aping this from memory so don’t quote me and check before sourcing bearings). The Enduro 2RS bearings they use are ok, but I don’t love the seals. We’ll be stocking NTN bearings in both LLU and LLB bearings, both with grease fill, for US and Canada customers by next week.
