This is a warranty replacement. It is a worrying failure, sign of poor engineering
And people complain about Zipp hubs. At least you can ride them for a while
Very worrying and not inspiring indeed.

Although in fairness, how many Vittoria wheels have you seen on the road? I've never seen any
Bontrager (i.e. DT Swiss) had a similar failure mode back in the mid-2000's was it? Mine cracked apart sitting in my bike room. Bonty/Trek replaced under warranty no questions asked. Still have the replacement wheels in the garage. Stuff happens.

All Zipp's which exist are after of before recall there are no other Zipp's . Enough to not consider such crap at all.
if you haven't seen any Vittoria wheels.... maybe they don't exist ?
Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company.

I can be wrong, and have plenty of examples for that
