I recently purchased a 2015 Corima 47mm S+ from an authorized dealer in Hong Kong.
After just a few rides (around 250km) with the latest version Corima break pads, I suddenly found that there is a small crack on the rear wheel, I am not sure if it is a crack because it looks more like a line of air bubble which should be a defect during production. And it appeared on both side of the rear wheel as illustrated.
I already wrote Corima for advice, but seems that they are having a summer vacation that won't be back before end of August...

Have you got any update on your Corima service enquiry? I'm interested in getting Corima wheels and good customer support would definitely be a plus for me!

PSM, that doesn't look good at all! What kind QC do they have at Corima?

Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)
Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Looks like a void in the carbon layup, not a crack.
Could be crack or void... Either way they probably won't fail catastrophically. That said, the finish on those wheels is horrible. Obvious surface voids and imperfections in the brake track... Makes me question their overall qc. Also interesting- resin flaked up at crossover points of fibers. Only ever seen that in wetlam/infusion or very poorly compacted prepreg. Could also be bad tool release agent but the other voids make me think otherwise.
Corima wheels are top notch. That's definitely a rare exception.
