I love this bike. Red/Black often looks cheap, but this one has class. Black stem (and maybe bottle cages) would make it close to perfect.

I'm planning on swapping the bars (Rotundos) for Tornovas shortly, and probably switch to a blacked out 3T stem.
The King Iris cages will remain however, until they start making those in black- they are on all my bikes.

Wheels are now Campy Shamal Ultra dark labels. Look pretty dope.

Blue Gaulzetti with Campag Chorus, Hyperon tubulars, thompson stem, rithcey bars and post comes in at 7.7kgs with pedals. I do feel the weight up short sharp climbs, but it's stiff as anything

1992 Merckx Corsa, lost most of its paint to the original owner, so sprayed black and used as a winter bike. Weighs a ton, and flexes when out of the saddle but feels like driving a tank on the flats.

I've got a steel Colnago Master X-Light that i ride on nice days and a Colnago C59 for all other times. The ride quality of the master is brilliant, what i love most is it's so quite. It's just a smooth silent ride. An all day bike. Soon i'll be swapping the 10 speed record for 11 speed super record before they changed the cranks to the current 4 arm design.

Very much like the tiny details of the bar end plugs...

Hi, I've just got my new indyfab SSR which has been in the works for the last 6 months. I'm super happy with how it turned out and thought I'd post a few pics on here as I've been looking through this thread for inspiration.

Indyfab SSR Max - dove grey with custom logos
Super record 2015
Enve bars, stem (colour matched) and seatpost
Fizik Arione 00 giro hero saddle
King cages
Hand built carbon tubs with King hubs and FMB’s
Speedplay zero stainless pedals

The completed bike is 7.5kg which I think is pretty good considering the frame and fork is around 1.7kg.

Cheers,
Ian

Wow, that Indy Fab! Perfect.

I wonder how it would look like with Shamal Milles or Eurus.

Thanks for the compliments :)

I've been looking at some of th campag wheels and would love a set of the bora ultra 35's. The carbon tubs are built up with gigantex rims from my local bike shop. They're rock solid, but could be a bit lighter. :)

Thanks... The bar tape is quite bright but looks good in the flesh... To me anyway ;) I might look at getting some custom stuff which a bit more toned down, but I'll give it time to bed in first.

I think the levers are pretty much spot on... Might be the angle of the photo? :noidea: I'm going in for the final fit this week so I'll be having a closer look now. ;)

Ian,

seems you clamped the levers quite low on the bars, it makes a weird transition with bars making a bulk before the levers pointing downward.

like a ~ shape, not smooth
