So thought I'd start of a thread for my new Scott Foil 15 (2014 model) 56cm frame.
I have only recently bought it and it is my first road bike, I have ridden fixed gear for a couple of years but doing more and more sportives and also now some Duathlons a road bike is required.
So here it is...
I weighed the bike (basic weigh myself then weigh myself with bike) and it came out at 8.1kg (with bottle cages, no bottles, no lights), this seems like quite a lot for what I thought was a light frameset with light components.
I have made the table below
(NOTE: weights were found online and not actual measured weights as bike is fully assembled, if any are way off please let me know)
Anyway, look forward to being part of the community and if anybody has any advice/criticism of the bike please shout out.
EDIT** Just checked over the spreadsheet and found the formula in the total cell was wrong so not totalling everything, have updated and it shows 8033grams.
