Hi, new member here. Since I'm having some knee problems, time came available to work on the bikes.

Short bike list:
- Cannondale Caad 10: Competition bike for the local criteriums, Gran Fondo's, climbing, ... - 7,45 kg
- Custom "Sels" Cyclocross/bad weather workhorse: Recreational Cyclocrosses during winter, bad weather, comfortable rides, ... - 10,71 kg
- Converted Trek 1.9 TT/tri bike: Time-trials and triathlons - 9,55 kg
- Custom MTB hardtail, and some other rusty stuff in the barn.

The Cannondale is the most recent bike, bought last year as an overyear Shimano 105 model. Swapping to light weight, but budget parts. Original parts are happily welcomed by the other bikes. Absolute stunning improvement over my previous Trek 1.9, and actually liking it more than the Supersix I test rode for a week.

Throw scale to trash  with those parts 7.45 is not gonna happened.
Except brakes & wheels ( reasonable weight for alu clinchers ) all the rest is HEAVY or VERY HEAVY. You are closer to 8.5 than 7.5kg.

I understand need for "to be noticed" or maybe even impress someone , but in area where EVERY part weight is known ? So easy to check what is real, what's fake... Simple math.

I become slowly "real weight Nemesis" ;) .

Have to admitt my scale isn't ultra precise  . I will re-weight it if I have the opportunity. Added some individual weights in the opening post.

Altough given a stock weight of +-8,5kg (without pedals?) and the part changes weighted on the kitchen scale, I do believe it is closer to 7,45kg, which is not even that lightweight. Claiming 6,8kg would be unbelievable

Updates:
- KCNC Ti Pro Lite Scandium seatpost - weighted 154g
- Procraft 90mm stem - weighted 93g
- LesAlpes quick releases - weighted 42g (2)
- KCNC derailleur bolts - weighted 1g
- LesAlpes carbon expander - weighted 29g
- LesAlpes 5cmt wheels - weighted 1197g
- Bontrager XXX tubes - weighted 500g (2)

Tubes are old Bontrager, no longer for sale. They came, hidden, with the house we bought, so no extra money for that. The LesAlpes wheels are 2014 model, Chinese, V-shape, however pretty cheap, so I don't need to be affraid breaking them in race.

Giving a final weight of 6,75kg, weighted with my top-notch scale  (new one is on its way)

Some weight will be added for the gluing of the tubes, and some lost for a slightly lighter cassette, cutting the steerer and maybe seatpost.

Changed the cassette to an Ultegra 11-23 (208g) for the racing wheels, larger cassette is put on the alu clinchers, since I will probably use these more for real climbing.

This is actually kinda fun losing weight, but there is nothing more to change/swap to other bikes :noidea:

New picture with a new scale, the number 6 may be changed to an 8 for some people

Now just need my knee recovered to ride this thing.

Can't argue with that can you? So the cheapo cheapo scale was pretty much spot on? I think an apology is in order.
