Even though I'm not a fan of naked carbon bikes, I think this is one of my favourite builds on WW. Purely because of the tech side, I love these massive DIY projects!

Just thinking: Sanding off the bottlecages finish, would make the whole thing MORE INTEGRATE!!! Don't?

Looking awesome! you seriously gotta rub that frame down with some mink oil though and bring out that luster!

Slight change- the Schmolke bars had a huge reach and were too long with Di2 levers.

AX bars are the perfect length, 6 grams less and have a small sweep on the tops. I think that will be rather nice for climbing.

The finish of the frame and components is resolved. Its more than matte but less than clearcoat.

that bar is amazing

my 40 cm tlo bar is 145 grams and your ax is wider and still lighter
i think my next bar would be a ax or tlo in oversized (if availebel )
it just gives some more support for the hands

i did some black touch up paint on my Ti stem bolts and it looked so much better
i dont have a zues stem but the thought is the same

i want to sand my frame to but i am just that much lazy :D

I've recently heard that the Zeus stem is exactly 26.0mm but schmolke bar is 25.8mm, so the bar may slip even if bolts are tightened to the max torque. Wonder if it is true or not.

If that is not a problem, I think schmolke bar with weave finish suits better to your bike.

CC - the build is turning out to be just amazing. If Keira Knightley were a bike, well, you would be riding her in the mountains around Boulder, Colorado. Lucky bastard..... :beerchug:

Now that Victoria is complete, we need Keira to be completed as well. Damn sexy women.

First ride today.
The Schmolke bar didnt work (long reach and too wide) so I switched to AX.

Bar, stem and seat post are incredibly ugly. Great project though, and it's gotta please your eye.

Congratulations on closing in on the finish of an amazing project. Also looking forward to a ride report and final weigh-in. I think it looks pretty nice, and in person I bet the full carbon would pop even more.

Looking amazing and I like the little details like the placement of the Di2 items on the stem and bars.

Great work.

that so could ugly cockpit and post look much better if you hold the bare part in your hand
its scary light and comes with a high end finish
looks are then far less important then weight

but what is the total weight of the bike in the picture ??
