I've just got a follow up email from Elite asking for a $65 delivery surcharge to N.Ireland....so I'm not sure they represent the great value they initially did.
Toxin - as someone with a lot of experience, I'm kitting out my Tarmac SL6 with the lightest 40 or 45mm wheels I can within a reasonable budget (rim brake).
What would your recommendation be if you were choosing?

I don't really have lots of first hand experience, just a lot of knowledge from spending a lot of time on the internet.
Personally, I'd build a custom set with a set with these hubs, alpina hyperlite spokes and whatever lightweight rims I could find. As for budget prebuilt options, I really don't have a clue as they never much interested me.

Mine just came today. I got 45x30 UD gloss- too lazy for photos. 3 extra spokes, front wheel = 592g, rear wheel = 695g, OW = 30.7mm, IW = 24.7mm. Wheels look good; rim finish isn't perfect but what do you expect for the money. Might have a shop check spoke tension and give them a look over. But they seem pretty good.

I will post some once I get my tires mounted. One disappointing thing- these are not tubeless ready, and they did not ship rim tape. I've learned the necessity of rim tape, even with tubes, the hard way. So I will have some photos Wednesday.
I'm not sure what people want to see in photos but see below. Learned the hard way that 24g TPU tubes are very delicate. Thankfully GP5K TTs are very supple/pliable.
28c GP5Ks measured 30mm on the nose. So we are following the 102% rule. Close enough. Hoping between the extra 2mm of mounted tire and 15mm less rim depth there will be a net improvement in ride quality, even with the carbon spokes. Just waiting on a crankset to finish the build.

Might be camera angle, but these look like they have the same wavy alternating width between spoke holes as lb x-flows and a few others. Are they thicker around the spoke holes and narrow in between? Edit...the more I look at them the less it looks that way.

I just received mine in the mail. Unexpectedly more quick than anticipated. The tracking didn't work so it was a suprise to find them at my door after work.
They ship with very little clutter in the box: just three spare spokes. The nipple acces holes are drilled (which I think is a plus) and the spokes with hexagonal nipples on the rim side. I have no clue if this is normal for carbon spokes. There is no rim tape on the wheels or provided, which is fine because I would use premium-branded tape anyway.
All axle end caps are firmly in place, there is no wiggle in them and all require a firm pull before they pop off. The front wheel has no axle all the way through but uses a small extension on both end caps (aprox 2.5 cm on the disc side and 2 cm on the non disc side), I would have personally preferred a full axle here but this system also works.
The rear hub does use an axle all the way through. All end caps have an O-ring and make use of a labyrinth seal except the cap on the rear hub drive side, which only has an O-ring. They are all covered in an thick, somewhat sticky grease.
The ratchet system doe have sufficient grease in it, although most of it seems to be in the edges of the metal where it doesn't really make contact.
Machining on threads and edges look refined and show nothing out of the order, but I have not tried to fit anything to them yet.
The middle of the rim feels very thin, probalby to save weight. This should not have an impact om performce during normal riding as forces are applied in a different direction but I suspect these rims are fragile in the perpendicular dirrection. The thinest rim walls at this point I've ever felt.
Where the rim parts have been bonded an edge can be clearly seen, but is actually very smooth.
Some numbers:
Front wheel: 565 gr
Rear wheel: 656 gr
Total: 1221 grams, where 1230 was advertised.
Rim width at the widest point: 29.5mm
Rim width at the tire: 28.7mm
Internal width: 21.6 mm
Weirdly, the rear rim internal width is consistantly a little bit wider at 22.6 mm

Your IW/OW had me freaking out until I saw they are completely different wheels lol
I've been using wheels from GO-ZONE (ultra light 50mm tubeless rims, Novatec 511/522 hubs, Pillar 1420 spokes, brass nipples) for more than a year now. Perfect wheels, have no problems with them. FFWD stickers are from AliExpress

It's just a sticker guys, it really doesn't affect your life does it. Maybe he just likes the look of white decals spinning around and those are the stickers he found.
