Woah, my 25 TLRs, bought a 2 months ago, were below 220g each.
However, the sizing looks to be about right (for Michelins), IIRC their "25mm" were supposed to be around 25mm WAM on a 17C rim.
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
I bought them based on these tests and measurements on BRR https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.co ... er-cup-tlr
According to BRR they weighed ~260 (270 claimed by Michelin) and more importantly they measured 28mm on a 17,8mm IW rim. My previous post was intended to point out they're LESS inaccurately labeled than they used to be

Anyone using the 28mm on a wider internal rim? BRR says not recommended for wide rims, mine are 23mm internal. Also, any updates to the 73psi minimum pressure? Few things holding me back from trying these

I used 28mm wheels on 25mm internal for like 5 years. No issues. I now know that generally that is not the preferred setup since things have changed. With 23mm IW the 28mm tires should be no concern. Pressure consult you rim and tire MFG as always since they can differ.cleanneon98 wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 6:55 pmAnyone using the 28mm on a wider internal rim? I thought with theze it was because the center tread section is narrower so if you put the tire on too wide of a rim you start riding on the sidewall when cornering and can damage it. Pressure wise these say minimum 73psi which is more than I run now. It's not an issue of tire pressure limitations of the rim (it's hooked)

I am sorely tempted to place an order for some Michelin Power 2's.
I run C17 internal clincher rims (Zero Nites) & inner tubes. Am I best to buy the 25mm or thoughts on the 28'S?
I currently run 25mm Conti GP5000, they need replacing & was toying with moving up to 28's. I run 28's on a commuting/winter bike. My main concern is if the tyres are sized differently between the brands & I end up with tyres that barely fit within my frame clearance. Any feedback to help with my decision appreciated.

I have just installed 28mm CLincher on 21 internal rims and they go at 31.3 mm. On 17 probabbly they will go around 29-30mm. You should go with some Vittoria 28mm or just get the Power Cup 25mm; they are almost 27mm on 17 internal rims( I have them on my Bora Ultra )
