Waiting for a hoard of parts to arrive on Thursday - but I couldn't help but at least throw a few on last night.

Decided to keep the 4.5ARs? Heard you were having some issues with the freehub.

So. Many. Parts. Showing up.

Here are some of the more interesting arrivals...

Another attempt at the Easton crank - since now I have a frame that it WILL fit on!

3T Bailout cassette. Clever design. Looks like it will be noisy. Hopefully it shifts ok!

Stans Grail CB7 Team wheelset (-8g once the XD driver is installed)

Compass / Rene Herse Snoqualmie Pass Extralite 44mm tires. I had a lot of back and forth about tire size, and really don't think I need so much tire - but the bike will fit them, they're arguably the fastest rolling "road plus" tire available, and have a light claimed weight. These pair are quite a bit lighter than I expected - actually slightly concerned that they're too light and may be fragile.

I had a Bailout cassette before I went AXS, no issues shifting but after a while, even with frequent lubing of the chain and cleaning from the beginning, it got noisy

With the constant crunch of gravel, maybe not such a big deal...?

Build looks great. Love that color. And the stance of the frame in that size.

I have the same wheels coming on my next adventure in purchasing a gravel bike.......hoping they ride nicely and aren't too flexy (not an issue for you, maybe a bit for me)..

I put out more wattz though, broh! :D

The wheels are reviewed to be a pretty soft riding rim - but that's my design. Generally pretty good feedback on lateral stiffness. That said, honestly, I haven't ridden a disc wheel yet where I had any concern about lateral stiffness. It's amazing what not hearing pad rub can do for you!

You've got plenty of clearance too - 2mm tire deflection either side is NBD. They sound like perfect gravel wheels.

Those tyres are crazy light for that size. Looking forward to pics mounted, and your thoughts about the raised ride height on that frame.
